seemingly slack week went wrong.. 8km route march 12km route march 16km run.. SOC on thursday.. drained like crazy.. ankle's getting cui.. knee aching like crazy.. wat more exercise from monday to wednesday.. shellscrapes again..


but the consolation is i finally passed my SOC.. can get status liao.. seeing orthopaedic soon.. strained neck.. hai.. my knee and ankle going cui soon also.. got a medal on friday also.. for completing the 16km formation run at east coast..

went town yesterday then met with xun kai.. went marina hoping to see fireworks from the national day thingy but dun have.. but nice though..

i'm kinda disoriented now.. dunno wat i'm typing now also.. juz so not myself right now.. think i better end here ba.. booking in soon liao also.. hope can survive another hell of a exercise ba.. meeting xiao ming on saturday.. at least something to look forward to during the weekends.. update again.. till thens..

section proficiency test was great.. first time saw my section working together.. everyone putting in the heart and soul into completing the various engineer tasks.. can say our section is considered the best le.. thats wat i was working hard for..

today's dumpling festival.. dunno the exact name of the festival.. LOL.. not too bad.. but sinful.. lots of good food at home.. lots of dumpling at home also.. bad for digestion.. ate alot le.. think getting fat.. LOL..

chronicles was good.. for those who thinks its a kids movie and unwilling to watch, tear down that adulthood and watch it.. its a good movie.. nice.. good effects good plot.. but recommended to watch the first one beforehand.. easier to understand..

weekends passed so quickly as usual.. going back camp later le.. nothing much for the week.. closer and closer to running 9.44 liao.. 9.57 now.. 13 more seconds.. must cheong hard.. been watching movie in camp this whole week.. stay alive, chronicles of narnia 1 and rush hour 3.. haha.. gonna have another this week i guess.. went chevrons sing with xiao ming kieng tiong and xiao ming's frend on friday also.. kenna smoked by the person when i booked.. sian.. paid more.. haiz.. yesterday went bank to set up a MySavings account.. finally got a plan in place liao.. still considering another method to help myself save also.. also went jogging in the evening yesterday..

as usual sat went for coffee with xun kai at night.. plaza was crazy.. got overnight sale or something liddat.. then today went for a haircut.. now damn damn short.. oh wells.. shorter hair means no need cut so often ba..

thinking of a saving plan to help mi save more with the allowance i get every month.. think that i am kinda overspending every month liao le.. realli need to save more.. so got more money to spend after i ord and eventually when i further my studies.. no need to strain on my parents..

watching the charity program on channel 8.. kinda upset looking at the ppl suffering in sichuan due to the earthquake.. i guess its realli hope and love that can push ppl to survive ba.. can onli pray that more survivors can be found.. hope that villages and infrastructure can be rebuilt soon.. hope for the best and hope for miracles to happen ba..

its realli juz great to be having my weekends this week.. supposedly to have my weekends burnt for a noble cause de.. but duty in camp saved my weekends.. LOL.. had a class bbq on saturday.. at chen chen place.. most came.. but some din.. but was still quite fun.. very very long no bbq le.. enjoyed the time bbq-ing food and cooking for everyone.. chen chen kept opening liquor.. ppl vomitted.. ppl almost buang liao.. including myself even though a onli drank a little..

great to be seeing old frends and able to catch up a little on everybody lives.. ppl busy in army and ppl busy with their uni lives.. kinda luxurious to be able to take some time off for everyone to gather together for a class outing at this time of the year.. appreciated the effort from keat kee, chen chen and from everyone who came.. its nv easy to organise.. haha.. hopefully in future have the chance to gather more often for outing and stuffs..

from this bbq also got something very important.. officially pronounce myself being ALLERGIC TO ALCOHOL.. no more liquor and alcohol for mi from now on.. had been tormented by rashes over my body due to mere 3 cups of diluted liquor.. guess this issn't a very bad news afterall.. i dun drink anyways also.. haha.. sunday that was like juz yesterday went out with my mum to bai bai at 四马路观音庙.. very long no go out with my mum le.. so promised to go out with her yesterday.. not too bad.. wasn't as impatient like in the past when i went out with her le.. kinda accomplished something liddat.. guess i should bring my mum out more often when i have the time when i book out.. she always been busy with housework and seldom gets to enjoy herself.. time to realli bring her ard le.. LOL..

went look for xun kai also.. good to see him jumping and running after his gruesome field camp in tekong.. LOL.. had a nice nice chat thru the night.. another luxury that we are able to make time out of the stupid army schedules to meet up for a casual meeting.. a luxury that always bring mi new surprises everytime..

attended C for 2 days.. went to see the doctor again this morning.. got mc for tml also.. gonna book in tml night.. realli gotten very sick these few days.. apparently a virus is spreading among my company and everyone is getting it.. lucky i gone home and not spreading it to my platoon ppl..

been a very hectic few weeks.. busy with alot of things.. though nothing much to do in camp but have been busy during book out.. busy at home and meeting my frends here and there.. shopping with fat tummy and going out with my bmt frends..

One Year..

2 days back one yr ago.. a 18 yr old boy stepped into the realms of no return.. braved the waters and reached an island.. picked up the courage, drew my sword and fought the miserable war till now.. against the dark forces waiting to see the light.. the time will come.. the war will end.. everything will be restored.. my life.. my freedom..

all crap la.. hahax.. finally the long awaited one yr soldier.. been in service for 1 yr liao le.. been a very very long time.. there has been tough times and memorable times.. gone thru quite a bit and can finally say that i am more of a man already..

this whole yr has taken away a lot.. yet it has also given mi a lot.. learning to stay strong and learning so many invaluable lessons in life.. this will nv have happened if i have been staying in my comfort zone.. i would nv have learnt how to appreciate.. i would nv have found wat i wanted in life.. i would nv have known who i am..

10 more months to go before i reach another crossroad in life.. but i noe i will have the strength to overcome it.. and i will be able realise my dreams for the future.. and to gain more valuable lessons for the days to come before i ord..

someone very important has juz enlisted.. but i'm sure he would be doing well in tekong.. he enlisted on the exact date one yr later than mi.. lol.. here would like to wish him all the best and good luck in his army life.. all the best xun kai..
